Getting Your MLA-III Certification:
To obtain the MLA III certification, individuals must meet specific requirements. These include having 36 months of experience in lubricant-analysis-based machinery condition monitoring, holding a Level II Machine Lubricant Analyst (MLA) certification, and completing 32 hours of documented formal training as outlined in the MLA III Body of Knowledge. To take the certification exam, students must apply in advance with the International Council for Machinery Lubrication (ICML), which offers exams online and at public training events.
